Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy is a “bottom’s up” approach to therapy. It was created for trauma survivors to heal from PTSD symptoms. It centers your body’s sensations, & felt experiences to help move through traumatic sensations and into safety.

Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems is a model that embraces the multiplicity of the mind, and invokes self-compassion with various parts of ourselves. This uses compassion and curiosity to learn about why these parts of us show up in a certain way, what they need from us and how we can restore trust with them and ourselves.

Attachment Theory

Attachment theory seeks to understand the relational bond held during long term relationships (ex. family of origin). It can also use the therapeutic relationship as a template to understand and heal some of the ruptures throughout childhood.
